York Knights boss Andrew Henderson has apologised to fans after what he deemed an embarrassing performance against Whitehaven. The final score was a 16-36 defeat however the Knights were 26-0 down at halftime and his side faced boos from supporters as they left the field. Andrew Henderson has said that supporters had every right to vent their frustrations towards him. The Knights sit joint bottom of the championship table having only picked up one win in seven games. The Knights are next in action on Sunday when they take on Sheffield in the 1895 Cup semi-final.
